A new tradition: Our family contributed here and there items to the Good Times Jar. We had New Year's Eve snacks while taking turns reading and reminiscing. Here are the Good Times of 2015:

Kids prayed and read scriptures and didn’t have any Zombie nightmares. They had been worried about them, but with
the miracle of scripture and prayer power, they had a good night sleep

Daddy found his other snow glove

We got soft water

found his gun

Rachel was happy that she finally got to be with her cousins and play with them
January 28:
Hannah was nervous about going to bed downstairs, crying and shaking. Rachel chose to love and serve her sister by
reading Hannah scriptures until she fell asleep
January 31:
Kids ambushed Daddy with a dart gun battle after he came home from work. It was a heated and mighty battle, but in the
end, the kids were victorious
February 9-10:
Our Staycation! We stayed in a hotel, went swimming two times, went to the Museum
of Natural Curiosity, ate at JCW’s, saw a 3D movie in “our own private showing”,
went to the Hogle Zoo, and went to Temple Square, then ate at the Olive Garden
February 17:
Learned we are having another baby boy
March 7-8:
Uncle David spent the weekend with us; he helped build the deck, played with
the kids, and he helped Daddy sing Red River Valley to the kids
April 18: We
went to the Payson Temple Open House with cousins an grandma and grandpa
May 15:
Daddy dancing with Hannah and Andrew when he should have been working
May 25: We
had our first meal on our deck
June 5:
Isaac Kenneth joined our family (The family also started to battle through a
water contamination scare)
July 1:
Benjamin turned 7
July 11: We
had our friends the Glades over for dinner and roasting banana boats over the
fire pit
July 16: New
Car! After a long ordeal we got it right; later the car was named the Silver
Arrow
July 24-26:
Mommy had a get-away to Logan with Nancy, Audrey, and Sara; Daddy and the kids
went hiking too and saw a snake, and they watched the movie Home at the
Kaysville Theatre, and they had an epic breakfast, played outside, and had the
fire pit for some awesome roasting
July 26: Had
our new neighbors over for dinner
August 10-19:
Grandma Dorothy and Jenelle came to visit
August 10:
First day of school (Rachel in 4th grade, Benjamin in 2nd
grade, and Hannah started Kindergarten)
August 14:
We got a new trampoline
August 16:
Isaac was given a name and a blessing

Rachel turned 9
August 17:
Mommy and Daddy have been married 10 years and Daddy got Mommy a tin flower
vase and a tin box with lots of good stuff inside
August 20:
Nicole and Juan got married

Hannah turned 5

had a Fancy Nancy Birthday Party
September 9:
Hannah started ballet
November 11:
Rachel’s Drawing (Let Your Imagination Fly) won first place in her school and
moved on to the District level
November 26:

Family went to Boondocks where Mommy and Daddy got overwhelmed, Hannah won 2nd
place in Mario Kart, Rachel harpooned some sea animals but thought it was okay
because she was earning tickets, Andrew blew up tanks and planes by throwing
plastic balls at them, Benjamin hit a ticket jackpot and got ninja prizes, and
Isaac was loving all the things to see and hear

Rachel’s drawing won in the district and is moving on to Regionals now
December 11:
Benjamin started Karate

Andrew turned 3!

Ward Christmas party for which Mom and Dad did lots of planning and preparation

Hannah’s ballet recital

Christmas morning at our home then the rest with family at Grandma and Grandpa
Anson’s home

We got a tent (ready for camping in 2016)
Other Fun Things: Watching General Conference, building blanket forts, Stories Without
Books, going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house multiple times, dancing to music,
eating out at Wendy’s multiple times, Benjamin had a Read-a-Thon, and multiple
times roasting things around the fire pit
