Pregnancy Highlights:  My ob confirmed he is indeed a boy.  We had a good laugh about it at my appointment this morning.  He knew I was thinking that we were having a girl so when we saw the results from the target ultrasound he said he laughed to himself and thought we were going to be very surprised in the delivery room.  He also admitted to knowing from early on that he knew it was a boy.  He said this boy is not a shy kid and showed himself a few times prior - I just completely missed it!!

How far along:  29 weeks

Size of baby:  According to my weekly email the baby is now over 15 inches long and over 2 lbs.  About the size of a butternut squash.  Today at my appointment he is measuring 30 weeks and weighing in at 3 lbs 6 oz.

Stretch Marks:  Nothing new.  The old ones are quite visible now.

Gender:  BOY

Name:   We finally have a name and it feels good.  Naming him makes the fact that we are having a boy even more real.  But we will not be spilling he beans on his name.

Movement:  He is still very active early morning, later in the evening and around 2 pm.  Which is most likely his awake times.  He is also getting quite strong.  Rachel finally sat still long enough to feel him move this week.  She was so very happy and I think is less disappointed that she is getting another brother instead of another sister.

Sleep:  Insomnia and bathroom visits are annoying.

Exercise:   I have been walking though I feel like I'm going to die sometimes.  I usually practice my hypnobreathing while walking so that's a good thing.

What I miss:  I miss sleeping through the night and doing things without all the extra effort.

Cravings:  Cinnamon rolls, anything Italian, fruit and salads.

Aversions: Beef, mexican and anything BBQ - oh and anything greasy.

Best moment of the week: Getting a few new pregnancy shirts.  Some shirts I had were just too worn out or too small to wear in public anymore. I have learned that I have such a basketball belly I need to have shirts long enough to cover said belly.

Looking forward to: Holding this little trickster and sharing his name with everyone.
