Pregnancy Highlights: They baby is getting bigger but my weight has slowed down. I think that is due in part to my begin up and doing a whole lot of stuff. Cravings have changed. I want fruit and salads and cinnamon rolls. I have wanted cinnamon rolls from the very beginning - they are just so good.
How far along: 19 weeks
Size of baby: According to my weekly email the baby is about 6 inches long and 8.5 oz - or the size of a heirloom tomato.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new.
Gender: We are not finding out. This baby will be the tie breaker for our family, and for grandchildren on all sides. So we are keeping the gender a surprise until the wee one makes their appearance.
Name: We have some picked out either way, but again are not sharing.
Movement: I have defiantly felt tickling and rolling this past week. Mostly early in the morning or at night - basically the only times I am not up chasing kids around.
Exercise: I'm organizing and getting projects done like crazy and going up and down the stairs way to many times to count.
What I miss: I do miss sleeping through the night, but that's about it. I'm still enjoying my extra wind of energy (most of the time) and better relationship with food.
Cravings: Cinnamon rolls, anything Italian, fruit and salads.
Aversions: Beef, mexican and anything BBQ - oh and anything greasy.
Best moment of the week: Feeling our little one move and KNOWING for sure it wasn't anything else. And feeling super productive around the house. We finally finished our stairs, re-did our island, painted our kitchen, and fixed the front panel on our bathtub. Last project on the list in putting up some board and batten in the dining room & tile back splash in the kitchen. We really wanted to remodel the kitchen but being realistic we knew we couldn't afford it right now so we decided to do a little update.
Looking forward to: Finishing our projects and getting our crib and some clothes (boy and girl) washed up and ready to go so we can be prepared either way. Oh also my next appointment on Friday - get to see our sweet one again. Can you believe I am almost half way done!?
