Spring soccer has started up for Rachel. We were a little worried a few weeks before her first game because this field was still totally covered with very deep snow. With our quick warm up though it melted quite fast and as you can see left the grass a brilliant green.
Rachel has been super excited to get back out on the soccer field with her friends. When we asked her if she wanted to sign up for soccer again in the fall she gave us an emphatic "YES!!!!!!"
She has improved quite a bit since her first few times and is actually able to keep up with the ball. I know with more practice and more game time she will only get better. And thanks to my new camera I will be able to take more awesome shots like this one:
She has also informed us that she wants to start piano - again - and sing in a choir. I'm still working on the piano thing but for now she and Marc have decided to sing in our ward choir together. It is a lot of fun watching her up there singing beautiful music surrounded by adults, it just melts my heart and makes this mommy proud.
I am having a ball watching her grow up.
