So many years ago we made a promise to the kids that once we got a fence we would get a dog.  It was promise that they wouldn't let us forget...ever.  Because we are under contract for a fence to be installed - if it EVER stops raining so the company can STOP being behind schedule because of it - we started looking at dogs at shelters.  We fell in love with many but ultimately decided on this little guy.  He is a 10 week old terrier mix.  They are unsure exactly what he is mixed with but he has a calm-ish, sweet, shy and psycho at times personality.  He is really good with the kids, and is learning the ropes fast, is 98% potty trained and in the 4 days we have had him he is already kennel trained. The foster family that him for 2 weeks named him PJ and the kids decided to keep his name - it's on his tag so it's official.  I kept trying to convince them we should change it to Perry ( like perry the platypus from Phinus and Ferb) but the kids out voted me.  I thought it would be hilarious to say "Where's Perry?" and we could pretend that Perry the puppy was on some secret mission all the time. But a well . . . PJ it is and no it doesn't stand for anything.
