Today our Hannah-banana graduated from preschool. We are so very proud of the strides she has made this past year. She is shy and struggles with some anxiety but we have seen her confidence bloom and grow. Normally during a situation like this (being in front of a large crowd) she would not go up, shake and cry. But today she sat with her class and sang the songs albeit quietly - not loud and proud like she does at home, she smiled and she participated. THAT is an amazing accomplishment. We are so very grateful for her preschool teacher and all that she has done to help us help her. Seeing her change gives us confidence that when she attends kindergarten this fall things will hopefully go smoothly.
Before being able to graduate each student is asked a list of questions. There were plenty of fun answers from all of the kiddos and all of the parents got a good laugh. Here is Hannah's exit interview:
My favorite color: Green
When I grow up, I want to: Go to high school
My favorite thing about preschool was: The centers
Something cool that I learned this year: About sharks
If I could have a super power it would be: Jello power!! I would make jello houses to bounce in then eat it.
