Bunny day this year was extra special for a few reasons.
1. It just happened to land on the first day of General Conference so we were able to spend even more time with family than usual.
2. David's family has moved back and are in the very early stages of building a home.
3. All of the men were able to attend the Priesthood session together for the first time in years.
But before we get to all that fun, the Easter bunny left another treasure hunt for the kiddos to find their baskets. That is one tricky bunny to make them work so hard in the morning. They had fun though and fully woke up at some point while working out the puzzle.
Andrew woke up at the very last possible moment before we headed out the door to grandma and grandpas of course so he didn't get to participate in the hunt at all. That's okay, he was just excited for the candy.
Between the first and second session we had the big egg hunt at grandma and grandpas with all of the cousins. It was a crazy, grand event that included: running, laughing, crying, WAY too much candy ingestion for one day, wrestling, a broken watch and tree being torn out of the yard. Yep you read that right. Doesn't everyone rip out a tree, by hand, on bunny day?
Don't worry, Dad wanted the tree gone...eventually

David moved? No wonder Amy has not updated the blog lately...and I love the casual picture of my cousins just chatting - with a SNOW COVERED MOUTAIN looming behind them! Whoa!
