Pregnancy Highlights:  I have hit the seeing my OB every 2 weeks now milestone.  Which means we are getting closer.  That is a BIG highlight in my book.

How far along:  32 weeks

Size of baby:  According to my weekly email the Brother of Andrew is weighing in about 3 3/4 lbs and almost 17 inches long.  According to my appointment this morning he is measuring in right at 5 lbs.  Both my OB and I agree he will probably be as big as Andrew.  I may be crying on the inside just a little.   Interesting fact: he now has fingernails, toenails and hair.  At our last ultrasound the doctor saw plenty of hair on his head already - it will be interesting to see if he has as much hair as Benjamin had when he was born or mostly bald like Andrew.

Stretch Marks:  Nothing new.  The old ones are quite visible now and my belly is itchy.

Gender:  BOY

Name:   We finally have a name and it feels good.  Naming him makes the fact that we are having a boy even more real.  But we will not be spilling he beans on his name. We did tell the kids because they were all set on a name that we did not choose, we figured they needed time to adjust - and they now mostly accepting his name.

Movement:  He very active later in the evening when I'm trying to sleep and pretty much anytime I sit now.  He is also getting quite strong and you can see my belly moving or pieces of him poking quite far out. The kids like to guess which part they are seeing.

Sleep:  Insomnia and bathroom visits are annoying.

Exercise:   I have been walking, going up and down stairs and just being up and about.

What I miss:  I miss sleeping through the night and doing things without all the extra effort.  Also I miss not having heartburn. It comes on every afternoon like clockwork.  Also I miss having energy. My OB said my iron levels are good but he suspects my nausea and exhaustion are 'morning sickness' coming back to haunt me.  He said it can happen sometimes and looks like this time around I get to experience it again...

Cravings:  Anything Italian, fruit, salads and LOTS and LOTS of carbs.

Aversions: Beef, mexican and anything BBQ - oh and anything greasy.

Best moment of the week:  I took the kids out to eat at Costa Vida and actually really enjoyed my grilled chicken salad.  The flavors were quite delicious. Closest thing to mexican food I have had in along time.

Looking forward to: Holding this little trickster and sharing his name with everyone and my appointment on Thursday.
