He is hilarious, silly, creative, imaginative, intelligent, snuggly, he loves to dance and sing, and be our little jester.
He is so eager to learn and will sit transfixed while I read stories and is starting to finish sentences from his favorite books. When we are out and about he is constantly pointing out colors and saying their names. To date he knows: red, blue, green, orange, yellow, blue, purple, pink, grey, brown and white. His favorite color was yellow for a very long time but has recently switched to green. EVERYTHING has to be green, if it's not he can't handle life.
In the morning when he wakes up he will sit up in his big boy bed and just wait there. When he sees us walk in the room he says "Hi mommy (daddy). I wake up! I have nummies." He can clearly get in and out of his bed himself but I think he prefers us to come get him. I love it. And speaking of beds he goes to bed about 7:30 every night and will sleep through the night until 8, 9 or 10 in the morning. CRAZY and amazingly sweet at the same time.
What I don't always enjoy though is his pickiness about clothes. If I pick clothes out for him he will throw a fit for about 20 minutes. If I left him pick out his own clothes he is happy but will take 20 minutes to pick them out. He has his favorite pants and shirts and if they are not available then he will take longer than 20 minutes to pick out clothes. I don't know what is more taxing - the fit or the patience in letting him pick out his own clothes.
He has already started imaginary play. I love to watch him play because he will take 2 toys and they will have a conversation - sometimes I get the honor of playing the part of one of the toys. He loves to play with Benjamin (melts my heart) especially if dart guns or wands are involved. They will run around 'shooting' each other or casting spells on one another. If Andrew is hit he will dramatically fall to the grown with his tongue out and say "Blah, I die."
One of his favorite things to do is sing and dance. He sings along to many songs like "Let it Go" and "In Summer". But he is pretty amazing at making up his own songs. His most recent songs are called "Bada" (airplane), "Yellow Chair" and "Day and Night". Along with his songs he has some pretty sweet dance moves.
Oh and true to boy form he thinks it's absolutely hilarious when he farts.
