11 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:   Finally being able to tell people!!  We had to wait until later to have our first ultrasound (which was today, at 11 weeks) so we decided to wait to tell people too.  I've been pretty sick and my belly it poking out  so I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to pull this off.  But we did - mostly :)

How far along:  11 weeks

Size of baby:  1 1/2 inches from head to rump or the size of a fig.

Stretch Marks:  Nothing new.

Maternity clothes:   I started wearing them a few weeks ago mainly for the fact that they are more comfortable.  They don't dig into my belly and make me more sick.

Gender:  We are not finding out.  This baby will be the tie breaker for our family, and for grandchildren on all sides.  So we are keeping the gender a surprise until the wee one makes their appearance.

Name:   We have some picked out either way, but again are not sharing.

Movement:  Haven't felt anything yet but on the ultrasound picture today the babe was very active and very healthy.  Just like we want to see.

Sleep:  Sleep varies each night. Some nights I sleep well, some nights not well.  Some nights I'm sick all night, some nights I'm not. I always make 2 bathroom trips though.  TMI?

Exercise:   If taking care of kiddos all day long and lying around counts as exercise then I'm getting a lot of it!

What I miss:  Eating food or thinking about food or looking at food or smelling food without getting sick.  Nothing has been consistent with this pregnancy.  Some days I can handle something, the next day I can't even think about it without getting sick.  2 things that have stayed consistent:  I can not stand any type Mexican food (even writing that makes me need to visit the bathroom) and I love Subways sweet onion chicken teriyaki on their cheddar and herb bread.

Cravings:  If you call my need for Subways sweet onion chicken teriyaki on their cheddar and herb bread 2 times a week a craving than that would be it.

Aversions:  Everything.

Best moment of the week: Seeing that sweet little baby move on the ultrasound.  And telling Marc's mom about the baby.  Best reaction ever.  :)

Looking forward to:  Being able to eat and move without begin sick.
