Killer Bees 2014-2015

Another year of AYSO soccer season is upon us.  Marc decided that he would try his hand at coaching this year since AYSO was short on coaches and would have to cut teams/girls if they didn't get enough volunteers. It has been and will continue to be an extra busy season for us, but Marc is enjoying it and Rachel feels special to have her daddy be her coach.

Today was our first game of the season.  When we arrived at the fields they were soggy, almost swamp like in places.  Apparently they forgot to turn off their sprinklers the night before so everyone got to 'enjoy' the sogginess. The poor girls' feet were soaking wet, they were slipping everywhere and when they would kick the ball you could see a spray of water as well as the ball flying up in the air.  They were all troopers though, pushed through and did their best.   The teams tied 3-3 (though 2 of the goals for the other team came from our girls).  Rachel scored an awesome goal and was really aggressive this time.  She stayed with the ball and was a master at dribbling.

The girls were undecided about a name so Marc made an ultimate decision on their team name.  This year they are they Killer Bees and their cheer goes something like this:  1, 2, 3, SWARM!!!  Gotta love the cheesiness.  :)
