Temple Open House

After 2 long years they have finally finished remodeling the Temple near us and we couldn't wait to go through the open house with our kiddos.  We decided to wait to see it until the night before Rachel's baptism.  That way grandma and some friends could join us.

The Temple has undergone such an amazing transformation.  All Temples are wonderful, sacred and beautiful places; but now this Temple is GORGEOUS!

Rachel and Hannah both thought the brides' room was beautiful and Benjamin wanted to touch EVERYTHING inside that he could reach.  He touched doorknobs, walls, chairs, vases, cabinets, windows etc.  Looking back it was cute and very enduring but at the moment I was worried he would be 'the one' who broke the first vase before the Temple was even dedicated!!

When we entered the celestial room all of their eyes got ginormous, their mouths dropped open and there were some gasps.  Hannah promptly went over to a chair and sat down with a huge grin.  She said she wanted to stay there forever.  It melted my heart.  I want to stay there forever too.
