Baptism Day

Today was our Rachel-roos baptism.  We are so very thrilled with her decision to be baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was so excited for baptism and wanted to invite everyone she could, so we made sure to make invitations for her to hand out.  She has such a bubbly, out-going personality and is such a great little missionary now.  Though we are sad some friends (and family - we missed you David, Amy, Caleb, Jacob and Emmy) couldn't be with us we still many friends and family who could join us for her special day.  I'm sad I didn't get a large group picture with everyone who was there but that is the only regret I have for the day.

Everything went perfectly.  Rachel was not hesitant about going under the water, most details went smoothly, the food was delicious and so many people jumped in to help with whatever needed to be done.  The weather threatened to rain but by the end of the big feast the sun was shining, the air warmed up and we were able to use our awesome new patio.
