New Year

Today Benjamin and Rachel started school.  The morning started rough - we got a little lazy with our morning routine during the summer and well, we paid for it this morning.

But we pulled it together and in the end we all still like each other.

After having morning prayers, Marc gave the kiddos fathers blessing for back to school.  After doing this we could feel the spirit back in our home.

I went to the school to have orientation with Rachel and Benjamin while Marc stayed home with the little ones.

Rachel was nervous about who would be in her class, about her teacher and about doing cursive this year.  Once getting to her classroom, getting situated and seeing she already knows a few students she got over her worry and was just plain - excited.

Benjamin never expressed any worry about school, he was just excited to be going and to have the same teachers Rachel had.   He can be such a go-with-the-flow kinda kid sometimes it's nice.
