Curb Appeal

3 years, 2 months and 2weeks ago we moved into our new home and to a yard that looked like this:

 

There was nothing done, at all.  Weeds lived and thrived freely.  Thorns poked your feet through your shoes every time you walked out there. When it rained it was one BIG mud puddle.  Mice loved it.  Spiders loved it. And nasty bugs loved it.

We hated it.

So we worked on it, little by little.  Investing lots of money, and putting it tons of sweat, tears and injuries.  (I really should be buff after all the work we have done...)

Finally 3 years, 2 months and 2 weeks later - but whose counting anyway -  we have this:



Beautiful curb appeal!

Last thing to do is hire a company to FINALLY pour our concrete patio in the back, then we will build our small deck over a portion of it.  We have seen the 3D computer generated drawings of it and it is going to be AWESOME!  And it is going to happen this year.  Then we will do a backyard reveal. I'm so excited to be out of the building/developing stage and enter the maintaing stage.

I think it's long over due.
