This year the Easter Bunny was super tricky. If you remember last year he left clues for the kids to go on a scavenger hunt in order to find their baskets. Well this year he tied a piece of yarn to their bed post then wound it all over the house and tied the other end on their basket.
Rachel & Hannah woke up in the middle of the night, came into our room and said "There is white string all over the house!"
As any good parent would do I said (sleepily) "Really? That's strange? Now go back to bed."
They both listened and promptly went back to bed...after getting a drink.
Then later that morning we heard Benjamin say "Mommy, daddy? There is a white string attached to my bed and it's all over the house!!!"
We told him to follow the string that was attached to his bed and see where it leads. He did....all the way tot the pantry and found his basket. He was so excited he could barely talk. He looked through his basket with us then yelled down the stairs for girls. He excitedly told them what to do and what they would find.
Rachel found hers on top of Marc's car and for the life of her couldn't figure out how the Eater Bunny got it up there.
The Easter Bunny was awesome this year and brought them lots of fun things to play during their last 2 week break from school - which just started - and a few yummy treats of course.
I wonder what the Easter Bunny will do next year?
