With the nicer weather we have been having I have been able to let the chickens out of their coop and run to stretch their wings. It is so much fun to watch them stretch their wings, dig for bugs, run the length of the yard and take dirt baths. These two ladies in particular enjoyed it quite a bit. All of the other girls went back to the coop when they were done being out and about for an hour but these two hung back until I picked them up and carried them to their run. They just didn't want to leave. Honestly I can't blame them. I wouldn't want to go back either after being cooped up for so long. (pun intended)
Andrew also enjoyed having a dirt bath. He gave me a little taste of what I will get to enjoy this summer. Lots and lots of fun and dirt. :)
