1 year old

This last year has flown by.  Seriously.  How can this kiddo be 1 already? I guess that's what happens when you are busy having fun and building a basement.  Andrew has sure stolen our hearts, added more joy, more energy more craziness to our lives. He has learned to quickly keep up with our other 3 matching their energy to a T.

We cannot imagine our family without him.

Weight: 18 lbs 14 oz
Height:  29.5 inches

*Has mastered crawling up the stairs - but not down.
*Doesn't eat baby food anymore.
*His favorite foods are bananas, cheese, PB&J's, crackers, pumpkin bread, apple slices, corn chips & chocolate.
*Has 6 teeth
*Can stand by himself but not walk.
*Loves to play Peek-A-Boo and Hide & Seek (though many times he doesn't inform me we are playing Hide & Seek....& I tend to do all the seeking.)
*Loves to take the vent covers off & put anything down the into the duct work that fits.  ie: feet, hands, books, his toy hammer, socks, spoons, & most recently his sippy cup - which we found 3 days later.
*He LOVES to scream/shriek.  Especially while sitting in his highchair.  Mostly this is his way of saying "Feed me NOW!" Or "I am done, let me down NOW!"  He really needs to find another way to communicate because I am going deaf.
*Says : momma, dadda, nana (banana or food), Hi, uh uh oh and dow (down).
*Has started to finally calm himself down at night without any help from me.
*Loves the snow.
*Hates it when you take something away from him that he wants.  He will literally throw a mini tantrum, throwing his head back, sticking out his bottom lip then cry - after he holds his breath & his lips turn blue.
*He tends to fart a ton in his highchair. Not just little toots but big long [how can that come from you?] kind of farts.  After he passes his gas he will smile & belly laugh.  Then do it all again. I'm sure the encouragement from older siblings help.
*He started playing a new game recently.  He will crawl over to you but before he reaches you he will lay on his belly, with his hands under his chin and giggle.  When you throw a blanket over him he giggles, sits up and tries to pull it off.  After he is successful he lets out a shriek of excitement.
