We decided try and make a gingerbread house this year, entirely from scratch.
The candy was yummy.
The gingerbread was yummy.
But no one will ever higher me to build them a house, that's for sure.
While we were trying to assemble the house the roof cracked. We temporally fixed that and had fun decorating the house.
We had just finished decorating it and were admiring our work when the roof started sliding down. Then the cracked side of the roof caved into the house. So we decided to dig right in and enjoy that gingerbread house on the spot. It sure was tasty, next year though I think we will splurge and buy a kit.
