39 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights: Well it's a highlight that I made it to 39 weeks.  He is healthy, growing and comfy in there.  Also a positive note my OB is back so he will be around to deliver Andrew which makes me more comfortable than someone I have never met and who knows nothing about my history.  

How far along: 39 weeks

Size of baby:  On Mondays appointment he was measuring over 8 lbs and she (Yes I had to see a different OB because mine was out of town) said according to his leg measurement he is going to be a long kid....  My only consolation is that sometimes they can be off on the weight by about 1 lb so maybe he really isn't over 8 lbs or maybe he is closer to being over 9 lbs - yikes! 

Weight : 202 lbs

Total weight gain: 26.2 lbs

Gender: Boy

Name: Andrew Marc

Movement:  He is having moments of wakefulness and moments of being asleep.  When he is awake he sure lets me know and anyone else who happens to be awake at the time by how much my belly moves. 

Maternity clothes:  The safety pin thing worked again this Sunday so that's good....

Sleep:  It would be nice to sleep more than 1 or 2 hours at a time at night.  The bathroom trips every 2 hours are getting old.

What I miss: Being able to pick my feet up when I walk, sleeping, having energy etc.

Cravings:  Ice water

Aversions: Chicken still is not super tasty.  So are several other foods.  It would be nice to WANT to cook again.

Best moment of the week: Going to my appointment and finding out that NOTHING has happened.  By the way I'm being sarcastic.

Looking forward to:  My appointment on the 13th with my actually OB - but honestly we hope we don't make it to that appointment.
