It's inevitable. Every year that the kiddos get older, I get older too. In our family all 3 of the girls' birthdays just happened to be squashed together with in 17 days of each other. That's a lot of cake! The kiddos made me feel special that day by fighting...less, making and wrapping paper airplanes for me, and buying me a treat from each of them with their own money. My good friend Audrey came up with her kids for the afternoon and the group (all 10 of them) played all afternoon so we could visit. It was a wonderful surprise, one that I loved and will cherish. SO yes I may have turned another year older but I did it surrounded by people who love me - that's what counts.
