This was Andrews first ever father-sons campout and he was super excited and did super well.  He did have a brief moment being concerned but warmed up and had fun.  So after the belt promotion test Marc and the boys drove up to the campsite area which was about an hour away.  By the time they reached the site with the other fathers and sons it was dark.  Marc said he followed the directions but got lost because the map was wrong.  After calling a friend who was up there they found their way and our friend helped Marc set up the tent....in the dark.  They roasted marshmallows, then Andrew went to bed while Marc and Benjamin looked at stars for a while.

After a long night of uncomfortable sleeping they had a yummy breakfast, a little game of egg roulette and fishing.  They didn't catch any fish, just a lot of trees and weeds but for the MOST part they had fun.  Marc said he was able to get in a few good casts in-between untangling and freeing fishing lines.
