I signed the kiddos up for swim lessons because it has been way too long.  Like Hannah has never taken them.  Like the last time we did them I was pregnant with Andrew and Hannah was sitting in a stroller.   Time was well over due.

I decided to put Hannah and Andrew in the same class (the beginners class) because Hannah has never taken them and I thought it would be helpful with Andrews anxiety.  After the first class the instructor decided to move her up to the next level because she was doing so well.  Andrew on the other hand HATED every moment of it.  There was much crying and scowling and non participation on his part.  But the instructor was AMAZING, she very gently coaxed him out and helped him overcome his anxiety.  It was so wonderful to see and at the end of the 2 weeks we got a sweet note from his teacher.  He over came his anxiety and moved on to the next level.

Hannah did great as well.  She was a super great listener and fast learner. She graduated to the next level as well.  Benjamin was signed up for level 1 but he did so well the teacher taught him level 2 the second week and by the end of the lessons he passed clear up to level 3.   Rachel worked hard but needs a little more practice so they want her to repeat level 2.  She is NOT super thrilled with that idea.  Hopefully I don't wait so long to sign them up again.  Hopefully life's schedules will allow it.
