Isaac is now 2 months old.  It it is amazing how fast the time has gone.  He is such a character. He very much reminds us of Rachel when she was a baby.  Not only do they look alike but they also have a similar temperament; only he is a much better sleeper than she ever was at this age.

Here are some fun facts about him:

1. He HATES his carseat and even more he hates being in a moving vehicle. We have hope that this will change.  Rachel and Andrew were the same way and it only took them about 4 months to get over it.

2. He LOVES baths (contrary to the look on his face in the picture above).  He can be screaming his head off but as soon as I put him in the warm water he will calm down, smile and giggle.

3.  He enjoys being outside - unless it is too bright.

4.  He has fun watching his older siblings until they get too close for too long.

5. He has gotten very 'chatty' lately and can hold his own for quite a long visit.  He giggles, smiles, coos, squeals and grunts like crazy.  Sometimes he is so loud he startles himself.

6.  He gets the hiccups frequently and they are quite the exhibit.

7.  He has been known to put himself to sleep a few times already.  AND he goes to bed about 8 pm, wakes around 4 am to eat, then goes back to bed until 6-7 am. When he wakes up he will often lay there making soft cooing sounds for a while before you realize he is awake.   It's pretty amazing and I'm cherishing every sleeping moment.  But I'm also loving him when he is awake.

8. He takes a good nap later in the morning and another good nap in the afternoon.

9.  He likes to vomit on me when I have too much dairy...especially when that dairy consists of ice-cream.

10.  Sometimes he just likes to lay down and look around and visit with you rather than have you hold him.  But don't get me wrong he also really enjoys to be held - as long as it is mommy holding him.
