Hey, we got to build some snowmen

Just a few days ago we were working outside in the yard, wearing sunscreen, shorts, t-shirts and hats. Some of us were barefoot, but most were in sandals. We were eating otter pops, playing in the water table, spraying each other with the hose and drinking plenty of water.  Kids were stuffing their pockets with roli polies and collecting as many more as they could. We were dreaming of Summer - of all things sun and hot.

Today we are drinking hot cocoa, wearing boots, hats, gloves and winter coats.   We are playing in the snow, building snowmen, and having snowball fights. Today we are dreaming of all things winter and being asked by the kids every few minutes : How many more days until Christmas!?!

Mother nature sure knows how to throw us a curve ball; but we are taking it stride and loving every minute of it.  Especially the extra moister it is bringing to the mountains. :)
