Preschool Grad

This week Benjamin graduated from preschool with a certificate saying he is more than ready for Kindergarten.  He is excited to move on to Kindergarten and I am more than ready to stop paying for preschool.  Don't get me wrong it was worth every mile we put on Big Greenie and every dollar we spent but it is time, he is ready.

His class was tiny, 10 students - 8 girls and 2 boys.  Mrs. Tiffany said she has never had a class this small nor one that was so advanced. Because the class was so small she was able to do more fun things, challenge them more and create more of a relationship with them. Benjamin loved her and I loved her as a teacher.  Also because there were only 2 boys Benjamin became fast friends with Corbin (and his brother Wyatt). Corbin's mom was also pregnant with a little boy (Daxtin) while I was pregnant with Andrew.  She had Daxtin just a week and a half before Andrew came.  It has been a lot of fun getting to know her and her boys, and though we live in farther apart I hope we can still build our friendship.
But I got sidetracked.

For the graduation the kiddos sang songs and recited poems they had learned throughout the year, then they all received a certificate and goodie bag filled with pictures, books they had made and a slideshow DVD of all of their fun adventures this last year.

We are so proud of our Benjamin and all of his hard work and growth he has done this last year.  We are excited to spend time with him this summer having fun, but can't wait for his next adventure in Kindergarten!
