Field trip & friends

Benjamin is almost done with preschool and he is WAY ready for Kindergarten.  I hesitated for a few moments before deciding to put him in a preschool because, well, honestly it's money and I can totally teach him everything that his teacher would. But when he started not wanting to do 'school' with me and it became more of a battle between us I quickly found a place and it was the best decision ever.

I LOVE his teacher.
She teaches exactly everything that I would teach him and HOW I would teach him.
She loves teaching and you can tell.
He has learned SO SO SO much from her.
It was worth every penny we spent, every mile we put on our van and every dollar we spent on gas to take him to school.  Looking back I wouldn't have done it any other way.

As one last hurrah before preschool graduation his class went to this great park (that we have frequented to as well) to feed the ducks, play and have lunch. Parents and siblings were invited which was perfect because Hannah really loves to be out and about - not at home playing with boring me.

Benjamin and Hannah can be so sweet toward each other one moment and then fighting like cats and dogs the next, quite literally. I clearly don't get it. Yet it still drives me crazy.  At this moment they were being so sweet together I just had to capture it so I will always remember the peaceful times.

Benjamin was able to make a couple more friends that are BOYS in this preschool group as well. This is a monumental thing.  There are so many girls around us he hardly ever gets anytime with boys.  Wyatt (spider man jacket) and Corbin have become great buddies of his. I hope that I can help them continue to be friends. It might get tricky living 2 cities away (yes I actually drove 15 min each way to take him to preschool, 3 days a week...) but I am sure going to give it my best effort.

At this particular park there is this digger toy.  Every time (and I literally mean every time) we go to this particular park Benjamin will make a bee line for this toy and play with it until I make him get off. It is amazing to watch him. He has a real knack for it.  He loves to sit and figure something out. Whether it's this toy, he robotic bug, the remote control, the faucet, the toaster, the printer....the list goes on and on.

Miss Hannah banana on the other hand is usually glued to my side wherever we go. (Yes we are still working on MAJOR attachment issues. - insert large sigh)  So the fact that I got her go down this slide at all is a major accomplishment.  Okay so maybe I kind of had to push her down - literally....it will get better one day, right?
