First let me say that these pictures are not the best quality and I'm pretty bummed about that. Our camera is having special issues (one day we hope to get a better one) and on top of that the battery was dead. So dead I was lucky to get these few pictures even though I couldnt' use the flash.
That being said on to more fun stuff.
On Saturday the kiddos were invited to our friend Hunter's 5th birthday. We just love Hunter and his family. We also love that they only live a few houses down the block. But mostly we love the fact that Benjamin and Hunter are best buddies. Benjamin has needed a boy buddy for so long and we FINALLY have one. These two are so cute together and could play FOREVER.
For his birthday Hunter threw a Star Wars party at the Classic Fun Center just down the road a few miles. The kids had pizza, cupcakes and ice cream.
They also had the run of the place for 2 + hours. They did laser tag, the bounce houses, the Pirates Cove, the arcade and of course rollerskating.
This was their first time ever using roller skates and they did quite well. Rachel did end up with several nice bruises but we were very proud of her. She never gave up. She kept getting up and trying again and again.
Benjamin got skates that were slightly easier to use so he only fell a couple times. I have never seen him so proud and happy as he was while he was skating.
