Baby #3

Marc and I found out we were expecting #3 just before Christmas (December 19 2009 to be exact). It was a fun little Christmas present for us and for family : ) Today I had my first appointment where you get to see the little heart beating and see your little peanut for the first time. This is one of my favorite appointments to go to, it is so reassuring! Well besides some serious nausea that knocks me out of commission (Okay well maybe not entirely) from 2pm on, the fact that I can't stand my toothbrush or the smell of toothpaste or the smell of onions, or the smell of my husband, things have been going well. We found out today that we have one peanut cooking in there and he/she will be joining our family on or about August 22 2010!! (yes, August will be a busy month for us with Rachel's birthday on Aug 16 and our anniversary on Aug 17 . . . ) The doctor said everything looks good, and the little babies heart was pumping away nice and strong. : ) We are definitely excited and nervous. Now and forever we will be outnumbered by children, but if other parents can survive being outnumbered I'm sure we can too. : )

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!! YEAH I am SO happy for you guys!!! Isn't it a wonderful thing to be families? Children are the greatest treasure we recieve in this life. I am over-the-top excited for you.

Good luck with everything. And I am with you on the smelling thing. Each pregnancy I have tried to explain to my dear husband what is't like to smell things times a thousand...he just can't get it for some reason. When I was pregnant with Holly I was craving pumpkin bread so I made some...well, a lot actually. The smell was so "sicky-sweet" I couldn't eat one bit and the smell lingered ALL DAY!! I still cringe at the thought of it.

It's all for a good cause, right? :)

HOT DOG! So glad for you! You could look at it as outnumbered, but, you could look at is as a double - you and Marc are the parents; Rachel and Benjamin are the junior parents. This little Anson has it MADE!!!
