There wasn't as much hole cutting as he thought there would be so that's a good thing. He also said that it's a really, really, really good thing we did this instead of getting central air. When he opened up a few more areas he found pipes that had been leaking slowly for a while, black mold, and a few pipes even broke off in his hand!! Can you imagine what kind of disaster would have occurred if one of those pipes burst behind the walls!? Man I don't even want to go there. So now there is just the re-construction left to do, and hopefully we can get some family help with that. Are you scared yet dad? ;)

Oh yikes. That looks like quite the project. Makes me look at the patched holes in our walls and makes me grateful that they are least already patched. good luck
Yep! I am very worried, so when do we start to repair the fissures?
Oh man, I am so sorry but it sounds like a blessing in disguise because a huge disaster was diverted! I don't think I would have been happy about dealing with a burst pipe behind the walls either. Hang in there, your new walls will so good.
What a crazy day for you!!! Oh the joys of home ownership! I too am glad you avoided disaster and sickness. That black mold can really affect your well being. Glad all is well and what a blessing to have family close by to help you out.
Fun! Fun! Fun!
Oh I hate the holes and mess. Seems like you get one hole repaired then someone new comes in and makes a new one. You'll love it when it's all put back together.
