Birthday Party with the Cousins!

Even though Rachel's birthday isn't until the 16th we thought it would loads of fun to celebrate it while David, Amy, Caleb and Jacob were in town. For her birthday this year she requested a Brachiosaurus birthday cake. Which actually turned out to be easier to make than I thought it would thanks to the Betty Crocker website. There were a few changes that I made to make it into the correct dinosaur but I think it turned out great! She got some great birthday presents this year...a few of them related to dinosaurs of course :) Joseph and Amy got Rachel a super cute book about differnt animals, mom got her some clothes, books and a little doll with snap on clothes. The biggest hit though would be the HUGE dinosaur book she got from Joseph and Amy. When Amy brought it to her Rachel said (in a quiet, breathy voice) "WOW!" I so wish I had gotten a video of it, it was sooooooo hilarious!
