Okay it's official. Benjamin is scheduled for surgery June 24 . We won't find out the exact time until the day before but it will most likely be between 5 am and 7:30 am. Because he is so young they want to do it first thing in the morning. The opthamologist was so wonderful to squeeze us in on this date. He usually books out 2 months ahead for surgery but after telling him that our insurance was changing some things he said he would do Benjamin's surgery in less than 2 weeks! I knew that this day was coming but now that it is so close I'm kind of scared! It's like reality just sank in, my little boy is going to have 2 surgery's before he is 1. The doctor said each procedure would take like 10 minutes, there would be a little swelling and bruising around his eye and that he would be using dissoluble stitching. But before the surgery can take place he has to has a physical with our pediatrician, see the ENT again, and have a pre-op physical with the opthamologist all next week...3 appointments in one week, man we are going to go broke! ;)

Good Luck Liz! We'll keep you in our prayers!
I'll be sure to keep you guys in my prayers.
Hang in there. Everything will work out. It is always scary because of the "what if" factor but just keep on praying and trusting that things will turn out okay. If it's any concilation by Julia's 3rd surgery I was much calmer and trusting.
You guys will be in our thoughts and prayers.
