My little "fish"

Today we had another swimming party in our backyard. Even though it was a little overcast at first the kids had a blast and the sun even graced us with its presence about half way through.

I decided that I wasn't going to get Benjamin dressed in his pool attire because last time I did he wanted nothing to do with going in the pool. Well he sure proved me wrong this time! While the big kids were splashing in the pool he went right up to the side, was squealing and trying to climb in. So I picked him up, put his feet in the water and...he went to town, kicking, splashing, giggling, and squealing. I thought 'all right then if you want to go in, here ya go!' and set him in the pool...regular diaper, clothes and all. He loved it! He was splashing just as much as the big kids and he didn't care about being splashed right back. He was even crawling around in the water for a while.

When I took him out to warm up for a little bit, his diaper was so full he could barely crawl around so I stripped him down and put on a swim diaper. After all the kids had an otter pop it was into the pool again for more fun. Benjamin spent the better part of the afternoon crawling around in a swim diaper but he could have cared less. He is my little fish :)
