Project #1: (I don't have a picture of it) I FINALLY got a locking hinge for the toy box. Now there is no danger of the lid smashing down on one of my children's heads. I've been meaning to do this ever since Rachel was born...took me long enough huh?

Projects 1,2,3,4
So having my mom out here has been great! I even got to have her an extra week because she missed her flight home. So great in fact I was finally able to finish 4 projects that I started A LONG time ago.

Oh, so that's what you meant by projects! I love your chore chart--I want to make one, too! Your pillows are awesome, too!
Doesn't it feel so good to complete a project? Oh, I just love that feeling of completing something tangable. I LOVE those pillow cases. They just make me feel happy! And a memory quilt for picnics...who thinks of these things? I think it is just wonderful! And it took me YEARS to figure out the right "chore" system for our family so you are way ahead of me!
Good for you & way to go!!!
Too cute! What fun!
Liz, I love love LOVE your projects!! They're fantastic! I've been thinking about a picnic quilt like that but haven't gotten around to it. Your pillow cases are awesome; I wish I knew how to do all that facny piecing! And your chore chart ROCKS! What a great way to motivate everyone (especially the kids) to get chores done. I LOVE it! (And I'm totally going to copy it! ;) ) Your kiddos are so cute, by the way. Thanks for sharing all your completed projects. It's a great feeling isn't it? Nice work!
