I hope they call me on a mission

On Friday I had a conversation with Rachel while we were driving in the car. It went like this:

Rachel: "There's those missionaries."
Mom: As I look around "You're right."
Rachel: "They teach about Jesus."
Mom: "You remembered! Do you want to go on a mission and teach people about Jesus?" (note: we had the missionaries over for dinner on Sunday and talked about what they do)
Rachel: "Um...ya sure!! And Daddy can go on a mission, and mommy can go on a mission and brother Benjamin can go on a mission, all together!"

Now isn't that just cute? "Um....ya sure!"

Kids say the cutest things! We have sister missionaries in our ward and have the entire 5 years we have lived here. One Sunday I was doing a sharing time on missionaries and I asked a little boy if he wanted to go on a mission and he said, "Boys don't go on missions!" And he was serious too, he seemed confused how I could come us with such a notion! I got a good chuckle out of that. Kids perspectives are so innocent!

So cute! How fun would that be, to go on a mission as a family? Maybe Mark will get called to be a mission pres. Haha! That would be crazy!
