We love our Uncle Laef
Marc's long time friend Laef (whom we have dubbed Uncle Laef) stayed the night at our house on his way to Kansas, where he will stay for a few months before heading to Thailand to teach English. After feasting on some yummy grilled steak Laef was gracious enough to play 'froggy vs. the triceratops' with Rachel. Rachel just loves Laef. When I told her that he was here we opened the door and she ran out onto the porch where she gave him the biggest hug and immediately enlisted him as her sole playmate. After putting the kids to bed we had a rousing game of 'Settlers of Catan' and of course I won. This morning we had a lazy start, picked vegetables in our garden and Benjamin was able to have some bonding time with Uncle Laef too (when he wasn't playing with Rachel). Thanks Laef for entertaining Rachel and good luck in Thailand, we sure will miss you!

WOW! You don't know me but I am long time family friend with the Anson Family. I found your blog through a mutual friend. This is my 1st time here and I see this post with Laef in it...
