Game Night

Tonight we decided to try games with Rachel. It was her first time ever playing a board game and she actually did very well, considering they were for 3 and up (Candyland) and 7 and up (Connect Four). During Candyland she seemed a little confused at times but did very well at telling us the colors and finding them on the board. When we were done playing we asked her if she liked it...her response "put game away."
Now Connect Four on the other had she loved a ton. She and Marc must have 'played' at least 4 games. She just loved putting the 'wheels' in and watching them drop to the bottom. Not that she ever got the concept of needing to get 4 in a row but we think she learned about taking turns, which is a good start.

That is awesome about the 'taking turns' thing. What a valuable lesson to learn at such a young age.

That's right, guys, start em out young! Soon she'll be hosting her own game night. *sniff* They grow so fast! What a smart little cookie she is. We miss Rachel!
