We got our first pickins of the season...green beans, my favorite! We decided to put some in the freezer, so we taught Rachel how to snap the beans. My big girl sure had a fun time and did a really good job at it. Most of the beans got snapped by her hands but there were the occasional ones that got a little bite taken out of them before they were spit into the bowl. First Pickins

Is that a happy look on her face? I"m sure it is, but it makes me suspect some sort of child labor is going on! kidding. Fresh green beans sound so delicious right now! Remind me to be cautious when eating green beans at your house, though! Rachel spit can't be that harmful, though, she's too sweet.
