Today started out rainy and dreary, making us all sad that we wouldn't be able to work in the yard. In spite of the weather we decided to make a trip to Lowes to look at gate hardware hoping to be able to make the gate later in the week. Well just about the time that Rachel woke up from her nap the sun came out! So we headed outside determined to get as much as done as we could. With Rachel's help and a lot of luck we were able to get the gate made and hung in just over 2 hours. We even had time to cut the grass...which was BADLY needed. What an awsome day it turned out to be. So what do you think of our handy work? The gate is Marc's design and if you look at it you can see our initials M & E. Cool huh?

Liz, That looks like a lot of work! We have to put up a fence this summer too, maybe you could give us to do and not to do tips. How big is your backyard? Rachel is adorable, she looked like a flower with the skirt on her head.
