Once there was a snowman

So we finally got around to making our snowman. We thought we might as well do something nice with the snow. Sorry we didn't get to the snow cave yet Amy, but the snow isn't going anywhere so we have time.

Cooking 101

On Friday Rachel and I made pizza from scratch.

She just loves to be right in there 'helping' me now matter what I'm doing.If I move from one counter to another, she will climb down off of the stool and push it over to where I am then climb up to watch, smell and tell me how to do it. To keep her clothes a little cleaner I made her an apron of her very own...I think she loves it what about you?

Budding Artist Discovered

Here is the little Artist at work on her new masterpiece.

Everyday, several times a day you can find her hard at work sitting on the

kitchen floor with crayons and paper spread all around her.

What she draws only she knows,

but to her it is the best thing next to Teddy Grahams.

To visit her Gallery, which is conveniently around the corner where the fridge is,

you would think she has been coloring for years. Almost every inch of wall space

is covered in her one of a kind masterpieces, so don't miss the opportunity of a life time.

Doctors Apt

Today we also went to the doctor for another check up. So far everything is looking good. I actually gained some of the weight back that I lost during the first trimester which is good. We heard the heart beat for the first time today too! The doctor said the heartbeat sounded good (after she found it). The baby was super active and was moving around all over the place. We find out on February 20th if we are having a boy or a girl (Happy Birthday Dad!), we are both super excited to find out who will be joining us, Benjamin or Audrey. So keep tuning in and we'll let you all know when we find out!

Big Bed Time

Here is Rachel in her new Big Girl bed - she looks so tiny in it!!

We'll see how the first few nights go,

so far she thinks it's a great thing to jump on.

It's kind of strange to see her bed and the crib in the same room...

it's like WOW we are going to have 2 kids!

"Uh-Oh"

This is one of Rachel's new favorite things to do...next to coloring and making big messes.

next to the "Wasatch Front" in our back yard.

The Aftermath

So this is what our yard looks like after the huge snow storm. We got about 20 inches of new snow on top of what we had before. It snowed hard all day long so it was pointless to shovel until last night. Rachel and I didn't finish shoveling last night so Marc had to do the rest this morning. We are ready for spring but they are forecasting more snow tomorrow. Lets hope it isn't like yesterday.

Mommy's Little Helper

Tonight after dinner Rachel grabbed the wash cloth I used on her

and went around cleaning anything in her reach.
